BTW: this looks like the bad day at Brussels National.... way back, a bit before the bad day at Cali... (night actually...) Interesting tidbit. The guys had the engine failure above V1, and went over the embankment. The thrust was set on all 4 engines, per the AFM TO requirements... and yet, the acceleration was not there, this plane was already in trouble before the engine failure. Check out the report, and then read 14CFR Part 25 Subpart B... they were going to have a "sporty" takeoff as it has been described. The data is there, if anyone ever bothers to look at it with open eyes. The PIC was already in a compromised situation, not of his making, but guess who wears the can, as always.
