I think we have your number on who is providing biased content. The plant really has been seized by the Russians and nobody serious has suggested otherwise.

Oh nice bate and switch linking the 1986 disaster as the source of all the spent fuel being cooled there. In reality the wider complex remained a functioning nuclear power station until around 2001 and it became a major national store of decommissioned nuclear material, for somewhat obvious reasons, in the period since.

According to that article the site I used to IT support for that is doing a combined study into malaria and moquitos with an american university is a bio weapons site. Any lab doing work with an american institution needs to be accreditied by the US to at least an equivalent as required in the us

The MoD needs to be careful here as one man's 'augmented effects' is another man's 'thermobaric'. The distinction has to be the way these weapons are being used, especially for those in glass houses.

The gloves are well and Truly off.

Illia Ponomarenko 🇺🇦@IAPonomarenko·47mA new bill officially makes it totally legal for civilians to kill Russian military personnel deployed to Ukraine

Why do they need a law permitting that? They have been invaded.
(Good Lord, have the lawyers screwed up the world that badly?)

Good morning, get out and you’ll stay alive, man with a grenade tapping on an APC hatch.

I do hope you are right , not about me being a fool as that has already been confirmed a long time ago .
Not every lab is a bio lab ,but it can be suspicious when access is restricted and verification is not allowed like the access restriction and complete lack of transparency in Wuhan and other countries laboratories . Gets even more suspicious when you look at the premature deaths of Several of the Scientists involved with the viruses acquisitions .
The Iranian nuclear program has more transparency than some of these “ civilian “ labs .

The original “story “came across the wires on three separate news sources , I did not quote the Chinese sites as they had twisted the words of the American diplomat to suit their headline , and I did not quote the Russian news site as it also was selectively editing the words spoken by a US senator . I did quote the gateway pundit as it is like the onion , almost comical . We old fellas would call it a “wind up site “satirical news site . Newbies call it click bait .
Story now being reported on the Daily mail and other sites almost two weeks since the story first broke on foreign wire services .

Probably to cover the backs of civilians if and when it ends, though does that in effect make them no longer civilians? Not that it makes any difference to the Russians as they are targeting them, however it will let the Russians know that every and any civilian can and will kill them.

"I think we have your number" Ha ! You sound like that old coot of a sergeant in "Carry on Sergeant" EDIT: William Hartnell

"The plant really has been seized by the Russians nobody serious has suggested otherwise."
Quite correct - it hasn't been discussed at all by anybody. Why are you raising it ? The question is whether the cooling ponds need electricity ( supposedly disconnected by the Russians ) to keep the spent rods at a safe temperature. I hope you can understand this now.

"Oh nice bate and switch linking the 1986 disaster as the source of all the spent fuel being cooled there"
That, by the way, should be "bait", you know , like fish. As for the other part, you re right., I didn't know about the later history of CHernobyl and thought everything stopped with the accident. But tell me, since you seem to be implying I had some other motive for saying that, what "benefit" was it supposed to bring ? Who cares when the rods date from - apart from you, of course?

Those images are depressingly reminiscent of WW2.
