Three destroyed / abandoned Mastiffs
The engagement by the looks of it, looks like the top gunner gets blown out of one but a lot survive considering it looks like a direct hit.

Since drones take so many of the current headlines, It occurs to me that I have seen next to nothing about the use/ (lack of ) success/ whatever of the Switchblade drones delivered from the US.. The larger Switchblade 600 has a range of 25 miles, so that seems sufficient to use it in a wide variety of scenarios including attacking the Russian heavy guns and rocket-launchers that are causing most Ukr casualties.

Wouldn't this be specifically needed to export raw materials to China instead of Western Europe?

This might be a problem in the future, a starlink detector
Why go through iron dome when NASAMS can do the same thing and arguably better. Iron dome lost a shootout to enduring Shield system that uses AIM-9x for a multi billion dollar contract. Also iron dome was found not to interface well with modern western layered engagement networks. It could be fixed if you throw money at it, in the end the US never bothered. The US has 2 iron dome systems but they seem homeless they are contnuously being moved around and reassigned
And before you say it no they cant be sent to ukaine with out permission from israel

Not many sidelobes from a Starlink dish, and very small, you’d have to be on top of it to detect it.
Methinks this company is along the lines of the those selling explosive detecting dowsing wands…

Russian admitting that conventionally they can't beat NATO and that's what the nukes are for.

As a Vet Scaley (Royal Corps of Signals to the uninitiated), we were always surprised at what our colleagues in EW could detect even though we'd reduce Tx power to the absolute minimum and ensure that our AE were as low as we could get away with and pointing directly at each other. It is quite embarrassing to discover that you can quite easily use a back or side lobe to transmit a considerable distance (by accident of course).

I agree. A quick and dirty estimate for the 1280 active element phased array they use in the Starlink dish puts the gain of the main steerable lobe at around 71dB. The Tx power is low, so although the EIRP in the main lobe is high, with that number of active elements the side lobes are going to be miniscule I'd guess, and there will be next to sod all coming out horizontally for anything at long range and low altitude to see,

What's going on with the ammunition sparking - damp, well out of date, dirty weapon?
