These are 4WD sort of high mountain jeeps. Pretty capable ones. You can take out the modular doors and the roofs and still drive them. Don't get fooled by the looks. Just take parts to complete the next one and off you go.
Nutty, your memory is either short or short circuited.
The Italians, with this contribution, are doing a lovely job in preventing false advertising.
"Ukraine, you want to join NATO? Here, this is how NATO really looks, when you peel back a few layers of the onion. It's not all HIMARS and Stingers."
As Less Hair suggests, the good folks in the Ukrainian forces will make do and get the best out of the kit that they are offered.

How lucky? A Ukrainian tank attacked by two lancet loitering munitions that got caught up in the trees above it and failed to detonate.
Ecce Homo! Loquitur...
this is going to go well... NOT " Putin announced a war with oligarchs in Russia"
Ecce Homo! Loquitur...
If they shoot everyone who gets drunk they’ll end up killing more of their own troops than the Ukrainians…
One of the cynical jokes during the Cold War was that, if WW3 started, the best way to slow the Russian advance through Germany wasn’t mines but to leave the booze from every supermarket alongside every main route of attack for their troops to find…

Christmas Eve terrorism from The Guardian just now:
Death toll increases to ten in Kherson strikes
A Russian strike on Ukraine’s recently recaptured city of Kherson killed at least 10 people, wounded another 58 and left bloodied corpses on the road, authorities said.
Kherson regional governor Yaroslav Yanushevych told national television the death toll had risen to 10, up from seven reported earlier, Interfax Ukraine news agency said.
Fresh from a trip to the United States seeking weapons to resist the 10-month Russian invasion, president Volodymyr Zelenskiy published photos showing streets strewn with burning cars, smashed windows and bodies, Reuters reports.
“Social networks will most likely mark these photos as ‘sensitive content’. But this is not sensitive content – it is the real life of Ukraine and Ukrainians,” he wrote.
“These are not military facilities ... It is terror, it is killing for the sake of intimidation and pleasure.”

I may be getting too tetchy as I age, but this afternoon I had an irrational pop at SWMBO when she produced a red star to put on the top of our outdoor "Christmas tree" (really just a blue spruce by the drive that looks like a Christmas tree). I'm ashamed to say I threw the red star straight into the bin, went online, found a free 3D printable version of the Tryzub, printed one off, sprayed it with the closest rattle can I could find to gold, and I've just wired it to the top of the tree (with much delicate balancing on ladders - more words with SWMBO). Still amazes me how easy it is to make things now. Just a few moves of a mouse, a click, and out it pops a couple of hours later.
How SWMBO, given her background, didn't sense that I'd associate a red star with a certain barbaric nation I don't know. Plus point is that three neighbours have asked where I got the Tryzub from, so I'm now printing several off and will donate the proceeds to a Ukrainian charity. Makes me wish that I'd printed off loads of them earlier and offered them for sale to raise money for Ukraine.
Sorry, the Christmas Spirit has escaped me at the moment. I keep thinking of Ukrainian forces standing in freezing water in trenches, trying to defend their own country and it brings me close to tears. Seems just beyond belief that more than 100 years after my grandfather's comrades fought like this, this type of warfare is still going on today. Makes me despair of the human condition at times.

Thread: Western microchips in use in Russian jets as part of the bomb targetting system.
Ecce Homo! Loquitur...
Reports about a swarm drone attack & loud explosions on Vostochny Airport in Kursk (so called Khalino airbase; IATA: URS), deep inside #Russia.
This is a hub of the 16th Russian Air Force Army and a major base of Russian fighter jets.

Perhaps having loose net cover surrounding military facilities, weapons could be a good deterrent to missiles and drones? Much like a sheet of silk being able to stop a bullet.
