Is Ukraine about to have a war?

On the contrary, this is scene setting for the Russian people, explaining why mobilisation is not going to happen.

I tend to agree, that’s had the year changed from 2021

Fill a ship with some stuff that goes BANG.....and ram it into the structure...light the fuse and jump into your RIB and hightail out of the area.
Did not a similar thing happen in France using an old American Destroyer modified to look like a German Frigate by some RN and Commandos?

Close ups of the AN225 remains

Fill up a bulk carrier with ammonium nitrate, drive it between some pillars of the Kerch bridge and light up some diesel.
Best done remotely. Could a Bayraktar relay steering commands?

Pentagon reviewing hundreds of industry proposals in effort to rapidly arm Ukraine
WASHINGTON — The Pentagon has received more than 300 responses to its call for weapons and commercial systems to rapidly equip Ukraine’s military…
Meanwhile, LaPlante said DoD has obligated $181.8 million of its $300 million Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative funding. That includes a $17.8 million contract to AeroVironment for its Switchblade unmanned aircraft system, which the department plans to award Friday.
On top of a $45 million Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative obligation to coordinate weapon system transport, the department has also awarded: $61.4 million for communications equipment; $22.6 million for the Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System; $19.7 million for the Puma UAS; $7.2 million for M1151 Humvee refurbishment; $4.9 million for combat medical equipment and supplies; $2 million for binoculars; and $1.2 million for MREs.
LaPlante said the department has plans for the remaining $118.2 million in funding, but did not offer details.….
As the Pentagon works to supply Ukraine with needed weapon systems, it’s also focused on replenishing U.S. equipment stockpiles. Congress approved the $13.6 billion Ukraine Supplemental Appropriations Act in March, which included $3.5 billion to refresh DoD’s weapons supply.
LaPlante confirmed the department transferred the first batch of funding, about $1.45 billion, earlier this week to the Army and Marine Corps for Stingers, Javelins and other weapons…..
The Army is “actively negotiating” contracts for the Raytheon-made Stinger missiles and expects to make an award this month. The Javelin missile contract, LaPlante said, is “imminent,” adding that while the Pentagon had previously been buying the F-model of the Lockheed Martin-made Javelin, its stockpiles will be replenished with the newer G-model.…

Russia is reported to be transferring its units from Syria to Ukraine and handing its bases over to Iran and Hezbollah. Assad has, unsurprisingly, made an emergency visit to Teheran.
Supposition is that Russia will keep the naval base at Tartus (important with the Bosporus closed to naval shipping) and the airbase at Latakia protecting it and hand over the rest.
Turkey had a quid pro quo with Russia but is implacably opposed to Iran - expect them to move in force into northern Syria if and as it happens.
Also expect Israel to conduct even more free-ranging air strikes against Iranian bases and supplies.
Relevant article about the current situation in Syria. Another flashpoint that has been ignored because of Ukraine and may be bubbling over….

Not sure if anyone has already mentioned it but the Russians have reportedly abandoned Snake Island. Given its proximity to Romanian airspace its possible NATO ISR aircraft have been useful in figuring out what AD and other assets were present on the island, also giving the Ukrainians a heads up regarding any surface vessels making moves towards the island.
Hopefully the Ukrainians will reoccupy it at some point to extend their reach into the Black Sea and further protect the southern portion of their coastline.
