Phew, that was lucky we stopped where we did, just checked the engine oil level, looks like we need a longer dipstick.

The late comrade lieutenants last caution, "watch out, we will be spread thin on the ground... " while prophetic seems oddly unexpected. His self addressed envelope however, came in handy.
