Its happening all over

Surely there is a way to bring all these issues into one place. This review is one of many not even listed on trustpilot or prune or reviews.co.uk, but on
resellerratings.com

How much customers money this company has taken without supplying is frightening. What the hell are trading standards doing about this ?

"On 9/10/2013 I ordered and paid for an item. According to their website the item would be dispatched within approximately 7 days. On 15/10/2013 in response to my email, I was told that the product hadn't yet been received. On 29/10/2013, following numerous unanswered emails, I was told that they still didn't have stock. So I finally cancelled my order on 4/11/2013 and was advised by return email, that a refund had been processed. I have sent many emails saying that the refund has not been received with the occasional response asking me to check my bank again in 24 to 48 hours. To date I have still not received a refund."

... and it's now been flagged.
Ahhh well... So much for hoping that Nick might have made a New Year's resolution to be an honest and ethical businessman.

... and here's an update from Richard Prince.

Update, 02.01.14

Proviations have replied that they are ''clearly disappointed" to recieve my review and that they 'will sort out these issues in house without any need for further complexity on your part'.

They are clearly not disappointed enough as I still have not received my refund despite sending them my bank acount details (on their request) as they are having issues with their 'card acquiring merchant'.

Despite their assurances about sorting this in house I have now had to send a claim form to my credit card company for them to perform a charge back.

It is simply not acceptable that almost 3 months after cancelling my order (due to non delivery of goods) and many email exchanges I still do not have a refund.

Thankfully I paid by credit card so will retrieve my money (if not all the time I have wasted) via chargeback.

Honestly the worse retail service I have ever had.
Take note of this:
...as they are having issues with their 'card acquiring merchant'.
I think that's a rather tired old excuse considering that they claimed that they have fixed this issue on numerous occasions.

As I've said before, if Nick told me water was wet, I'd have to check for myself. I find it hard to believe Nick's claims and I have extreme difficulty in believing that anyone who has been in business for 5 years can have such bad luck and be so unprepared for the kind of issues that have allegedly plagued his company. Is he really as foolish and gullible as his repeated claims of "merchant services issues" would indicate or is he just a lying crook?
No prizes for stating the obvious, I'm afraid.

A further somewhat odd review:

'This is an update for a previous review I have written...'

But the reviewer hasn't posted any previous reviews - at least not to trustpilot under this name.

Outstanding service recovery!!!!! I am a very satisfied customer

This is an update for a previous review I have written. I would like to apologise and take back all the negative comments I have made while I was panicking for not having received an item on time. I would like to THANK PROVIATION VERY MUCH FOR THE OUTSTANDING SERVICE RECOVERY OFFERED. I have purchased a dvd from Proviation, as a Christmas gift for a friend . Me and my friends are spending the holidays in the US leaving a few days earlier, therefore I wanted to make sure the gift arrived before we left. The item was dispatched by Proviation very quickly but unfortunately , surely because of royal mail's fault, after 5 days the item wasn't delivered yet. Panicking of not having a gift for my friend and with only one day left before our departure, I was very upset and, I have to admit it, unnecessarily blamed Proviation for the delay. As you can imagine Christmas is a very busy period for many retailers so after a couple of attempts of talking to them a team member from Proviation has called me back to help me with the issue. The service recovery I have received was OUTSTANDING. Beside the friendly and professional approach , Proviation has quickly find a solution to the problem , dispatching an upgraded more expensive version of the same item I have ordered and sent it on UPS express one day delivery, everything at no extra costs. I was left speechless and without any doubt I am a satisfied customer. Once again thanks Proviation very much

I have recently purchased similar products from Flightstore, with excellent service I might add; that originally caused me to be involved with Proviation . Chalk and cheese is a phrase that comes to mind. Out of idle curiosity I dropped back into this thread to see it if things had improved any ; apart from the very strange "review" a couple of post back that really had me pinching myself in disbelief it would appear that little has altered. I did eventually receive my money back, I managed to get the Paypal dispute started within the required 45 days but even that procedure was dragged out .

Trustpilot may also has issues with the believability of comments when one considers the strange flagging and removing practices that is a pity as I have written genuine positive reports as a satisfied customer for other suppliers and this behavior devalues those comments in my opinion. I will however write one for the great service I received from Flightstore.

I commend Paul Kerry for his tenacity in keeping the many "flagged/removed" comments in the public eye despite the manipulation of interested parties, I wonder how the glowing (i.e. fake) report managed to get there .

Good luck to all those with outstanding issues with Proviation, and if you have only just come across this thread, don't waste a couple of hours of your life reading through the whole thread, just AVOID PROVIATION AS YOU WOULD AVOID THE PLAGUE ! whatever you need is available elsewhere and with much less hassle.

Happy New Year
Derek

What a terrible underhand company

Well Nuno, my fiend, Your review is now completely removed from Trustpilot.

Was this because you were offered many many promises or are you not aware of this.?

If the later, email Trustpilot now and post a review on their own Trustpilot.co.uk page saying how disgusted you are that your review has been removed

they will put it back.

If not, 2014 will see the same thing from this one man band in his bedroom taking money without supplying.

Another one salvaged before the flag-fairy gets there and the "poor-me" sob stories and bribes start.

From scott
I will never use this company again

ordered on 2nd DEC and paid via pay pal on 3rd DEC for a Ģ145 alpha industries coat, web site stated in stock with 1-3 day delivery, their website stated no payment received on the 5th DEC and after i emailed them on the 5th DEC, they replied on 06/12/2013 @ 5:17 PM to say coat was not in and there was a 7 day delay (i was going away and wanted coat within the 1st week), funny, but pay pal emailed on 06/12/2013 @ 5:19 to inform me the seller had added postage details which stated item had been sent, only 2 minutes after they emailed me to say there was a 7 day delay they must have informed pay pal my item had been dispatched????. a week or 2 later and after 4 more emails and 10 times trying there phone number(with no luck) they emailed me to inform me my coat had been posted already weeks ago!!!!, they told me they would send item again. i asked for tracking numbers for previous postage and also new postage, they gave me 1 tracking number for new postage (i presume) but delivery company did not recognize tracking number, i started a pay pal dispute and they got my money back at the start of new year, (thank you pay pal) the whole of December was a big head ache i could have done without, what more can i say only "best of luck to anyone who chooses to order from this company" . when you look at there site it looks really good and full of customer care promises, my final words, don't believe everything you read on web sites and research company's before you buy from them online!!!!!!!!!

This is what happens when you deal with Proviation

A typical situation on many websites nowadays. Companies with a cheap to build website, grab every proper stores online products and stick them on their own, with no intention of getting supply, just taking the money

Here is another review on reseller ratings: This poor guy suffered the same story, told in stock, paid for it, not in stock, not received it, checked with manufacturer, manufacturer denies all knowledge of the store.

PS: What is a section 75?
----------------------------------------------------------

"Ordered both a SBS-3 and D777 with delivery on the next working day. Hoped for a delivery on the Saturday but as Proviation stated, I did request a next working day delivery, therefore expecting delivery on the Monday morning.

Worried about the lack of order status on the order page, I got in touch with Proviation via their chat engine and was told that the order should be delivered on Tuesday morning.

Tuesday morning... and no delivery... instead Proviation e-mailed stating that they are out of stock for at least 2-3 weeks and my order would find its way to the top of the waiting list.

Contacted Kinetic Avionics and discovered that Proviation are not listed as SBS-3 distributors.

Proviation has failed to honour their contract and consequently I requested a full and unconditional refund.

Waiting for the refund within the next 48 hours. Failing to do so, I will have no recourse but to instigate a section 75.

This is disappointing customer service."

A section 75 is a credit card charge-back, if I am not mistaken.

ENJOY !

This little extract from Proviation's own website :

A word about Trustpilot:

We have been a member of the Trustpilot review service for some time now, and actively encourage customers to leave reviews based on the service they receive from our store. However, it has come to our attention of late that our feedback profile on Trustpilot has been abused by non-customers posting negative comments about our service. We have approached Trustpilot about this on the grounds that the reviews are unfair and false, but have not achieved a level of cooperation yet. So far they have not removed any ficticious reviews.

(For what it's worth, my order a couple of years ago was finally fulfilled a full three months after my money was taken, so keep up the good work guys. I for one will never touch them again.)

How long does it take Trading Standards to do something about businesses like this one? Has anyone actually showed up to confront Nick yet?

It seems to me that this company spend a lot time defending themselves, trying to alter the course of history, massaging reviews, and trying to appease people. If that time was spent building an honest and transparent business, wouldn't life be easier? I am sure I said something like that before much earlier on in this thread, and it still amazes me that things don't seem to change and that the company still operates in exactly the same manner. Shame...
