Re Putin’s 5,000 word treatise on the origins of Russia and Ukraine last July.

In retrospect, perhaps it should have been titled “Mein Camp”.

whole different question is whether it was 'suicide by jumping through closed window".
However I want to emphasize I am sorry for him and condolences to his family. Another victim of Putins regime.

HAHAHAHHAHHHHAAAAAAA, if it wasn't so serious, it would be funny....

A Russian that was marking Ukrainian buildings targeted for bombing was caught by Ukraine citizens. His pants were removed and he was wrapped around a pole.

I consider this probable assassination of a high profile person as another sign of high nervousness in the top echelons in Russia. Won't be the last I guess.

According to this ex-NATO German general, Putin's enhanced status is only level 2 on a scale rising to 4 .

He also says that the Russian system for launching nukes requires the "presence" of two of three "suitcases " held by Putin, the Defence Minister and the Chief of the General Staff.

They fired an MLRS into the middle of Kharkiv, pictures of Ukrainian women with their legs blown off (not in this link) and corpses scattered everywhere. I’m not certain where the line is for a war crime, but I am certain that Putin has crossed it.

Is "thermobaric " the same as FAE ? Yes, as I understand it. Nasty stuff, and diabolical to use it in a residential area.

Valery Gerasimov, the Chief of the General Staff, was just replaced by Putin, wonder why....

He was a looter in the original Tweet.

Same thing happened to my mate on his stag night.

So, according to Vlad's spokesmen, Russia's move to Defcon 2 was in response to comments made by Liz Truss during her interview on Sky yesterday. I kid you not. The Sky correspondent in Moscow did well to hide his smile when he relayed this information.

His actions are always "in response" to something - this whole thing is happening because of the actions of others. Blaming Truss is therefore classic Putin playbook.

And he seems to always escalate threats several steps at a time to make it harder for opponents to react.

Not so sure. The Americans to their credit just ignored this: "Meh, whatever. We think you're bluffing".
