Early at the start to the war it appears the Ukrainians evacuated the SAR fleet to Poland, Pumas and fixed wing.

A Russian pensioner setting fire to a military Commissariat. Even the arrival of the police does not deter him.

I can see Putin being f**ked over this.

Start a rumour that the Moscovites want to add a couple of more floors to Vlad's apartment... it's only 4 at present unless I can't count accurately.

"...No pressure...."

Given the ties between India and Russia (go right back to India's ties with the Soviet Union) then India will be under pressure from Russia not to expose these as state sponsored assassinations.

Putin has strong form for assassinating people whenever and wherever he chooses. He started doing this a long time ago, when he first came into power, and has been using it to threaten others he fears might try and oppose him for years. We can't criticise India, the UK didn't exactly bend over backwards to blame Russia for assassinations here. Even after Litvinenko's death in 2006 the UK government was reluctant to properly investigate (or at least make public) the true cause of death of several other Russians here, right up until the Salisbury chemical weapons attack, which was so gross, and so bodged, that our government had no choice, and had to publicly admit that Russia was involved in state sponsored assassination.

Spying on British airbases? Latest target for the purgers of Russian assets is internet supplier Upp, which has been rolling out FTTP in the east of England. The UK Government wants the existing company that owns Upp to sell all its stake and a full security audit of the physical network to be completed before the sale.

The sale is being forced through because of links to Russia L1T FM Holdings UK Ltd and the parent company LetterOne Core Investments SARL. The co-founders of LetterOne are Mikhail Fridman and Petr Aven who are two Russion billionaires.

This news from the Thinkbroadband website which maintains an extensive database of its users, suppliers and locations. TBB says that it has found coverage from Upp in Horncastle, Spalding, Woodhall Spa, Market Deeping, Stamford, Downham Market, Thetford, and Diss which is potentially some 72,000 premises.

A commentator on the website posts: Anybody remotely familiar with the location of RAF and USAF bases in Lincolnshire and East Anglia will recognise why there's a massive (if belated) concern.

Russian fighter Topaz, who is part of the nazi Rusich unit, complains about mobilisation and shell hunger, in a telegram post. He says the mobilised are sabotaging missions by faking radio interactions while sitting in comfy dugouts. The translation is below:

Who'd be a Russian oligarch? Always has been risk of being knocked off by your own partners, then subject to sanctions which prevent you and yours going on shopping sprees around the world, then your last yacht is seized, now the Kremlin pressgangs you into a window-cleaning job for which there is no H&S regulations ...

Interesting, but then I also wonder why it is happening,.There are no reports of the shipyard director being critical and nothing about the former C-in-C.
