Spying on British airbases? Latest target for the purgers of Russian assets is internet supplier Upp, which has been rolling out FTTP in the east of England. The UK Government wants the existing company that owns Upp to sell all its stake and a full security audit of the physical network to be completed before the sale.
The sale is being forced through because of links to Russia L1T FM Holdings UK Ltd and the parent company LetterOne Core Investments SARL. The co-founders of LetterOne are Mikhail Fridman and Petr Aven who are two Russion billionaires.

TBB says that it has found coverage from Upp in Horncastle, Spalding, Woodhall Spa, Market Deeping, Stamford, Downham Market, Thetford, and Diss which is potentially some 72,000 premises.
