The first of 15 Leopards 2 A4 arrived to Slovakia (exchange for 30 BVPs sent to Ukraine).

Russian volunteer Murz released his longest and most critical text, suggesting Russia is completely unprepared for a Ukrainian counter-offensive in winter. This text was shared by Igor Girkin as "recommended for reading".

This is a very long 5k+ words text that sent some shockwaves through the Russian military blogger sphere. Murz shows none of the preparations on the "Surovikin line" are sufficient to stop Ukrainians and we will most likely see a similar "knife through butter" move as before.

The savagery towards their own people is horrific.

The Russian mask has been torn off, and what is underneath is grotesque. The world should look and shudder at what can be.

Not much different from WWII when Soviet troops had KGB behind to shoot retreating troops.

It was also a Soviet military offense to be taken prisoner.

Returned POWs were gulaged or shot.

Permit me a slight bit of pedantry here - because I'm sure we all like to learn - that would be the NKVD. KGB formed 1954.

Nice try Putin, but no bananas.
Not to mention the half a million or so surviving Russians that are now seriously pissed off at Putin and his little war that will be taking that home to Russia with them.

Aviation Content:

"Tonenke, Donetsk Oblast, a Ukrainian Mi-8 flying at low level is hit by Russian fire, crashing. Its wingman returns to the crash site, attempting to recover the crew." Comments suggest one survived, the other crewman died.

Western companies pulling out of Russia means there are soon going to be serious supply issues with production of all sorts of things and this is soon going to impact the economics of the RF in a major way. Yeah, Lada can make 5,000 cars a month, but in a short while the withdrawal of western business is going to have a huge impact on the Russian economy. This, of course, is what the sanctions are meant to do but I wonder if the Russians have correctly calculated what the effect will be after two or three years, not just the two weeks they anticipated invading Ukraine. I'm impressed with the unity the west has shown during this invasion and hope it continues and tightens. I wonder when the Russian civilians will notice.....

You will have to be very careful. The bear has the bomb and will use it if he thinks his existence is threatened. I suspect Putin’s mindset includes Russia c’est moi, so threatening just him will probably provoke the same response. Whatever is done would have to be lightning fast and totally unsuspected.

The Russian elites will fight to the inside, against each other. Nobody is invading Russia.

It’s high time the “people “ return the favor. If there is any nobility remaining in Russia, any unselfish courage, now is the time for the people to rise up and put the tyranny down.

if you read the baltic intelligence officers interviews you would understand that would never happen. Russians totally and utterly belive in tyranny, invading and empire, its a fundemental part of their culture

I think that might be a different crash, I say that as in the first person view the lead helicopter that crashes is well in front of the wingman, in the second video the wingman is in front of lead and wouldn't have had the same view of the crash?
