So we mobilise your son, he gets killed in Ukraine, we then break into your house and demand money for his funeral…
Blaming us darstardly Machiavellian Brits again. Brings tears of pride to my eyes….
Doubtless why Shoygu called Wallace this afternoon….
RIA Novosti: According to "credible sources in Ukraine and various other countries", Ukraine is preparing a provocation on the territory of its country using a "dirty bomb" or "low-yield nuclear weapon."
"Kyiv has already begun the practical implementation of this plan."

I think you've now sussed out the point. If a party elects to become a co-belligerent then NATO Art 5 no longer applies.
I would like to hope UN applies, but that hope died stillborn back in 1945 when circumstances meant that the same problems as bedevilled the League Of Nations were baked in.

The one that nailed him can be seen tracking him in the slowed down footage. 04 to 07 seconds, port side.

Is this cgi?
I have to say I wonder about the cgi. I am not an expert on cgi but the instrument panel looks very clean. Most pictures I see of working panels, particularly military ones they are quite beaten up.

Wow, the remains of the rockets and missiles fired at Kharkiv
The original HD footage of the Su-25 ejection and crash,
Suspect that footage is going to be used in a few training courses, like Barty Brooks F-100 tip stall bad day at Edwards. What looks like a flash down the port canopy is likely to be a reflection of the missile coming in from the other side, much like the infamous PLATS video . The drivers responses were pretty prompt, and he is smelling the weeds in short order. Welcome to Ukraine.
Thanks, that is a pretty straight shave of the vertical stab. Call that wires 1, Driver 0
In other news, Vlad seems to be bent on making fewer friends to the NORTH and east [D'oh!] WEST of his workers paradise. Perhaps he should consider taking a valium first. He assumes that another attack on a UN member state would be met with, what, disinterest? The UK pledged support for both Finland and Sweden during the period of transition into NATO. Does that invoke Art. 5, Nope, but we would be back to the same deal as if Poland supports Ukraine directly in Ukraine, should Vlad take time out to lob stuff at the UK. The UK may remain within the baltic states in response, but they are a bit more pragmatic on the right of hot pursuit. Vlad seems to assume that no one will target military locations that are within Russia that are actively involved in criminal actions. Maybe he is right, and then again, maybe he is being paid by Eritrea to swap stature of the states by bringing down the Russian military and economy...
Odd days.

With what appears to be a [choose as applicable: rout/withdrawal under fire/planned retreat/advance in the opposite direction] it would seem that Russia has little further need for the Antanovski bridge, which would be an ugly but possible direction of advance for Ukraine following Bug out Doug Vamoose Vladimir.... so that probably needs the underwriters to start sorting out their paperwork.... and of course, only a madman would drop the Kakhovka dam out of spite, which has a non zero chance of messing up South Russia, China, and Turkey and [select location: Burundi/Bermuda/Botswana/Eritrea/Serbia..... ]. Presumably there is a point where the globe will call it as it is, and declare Russia as a criminal & terrorist state. I've been holding my breath on the UN actually getting as much moral fortitude as the wonderful young lady PMs of the Scandinavian and Baltic Govts, to the amusement of Lonewolf 50 for long enough that I am now ready for a screen audition for Avatar 2.0!
Bringing down the dam is a really really bad idea. Won't look good on Vlad's resume, he needs to be careful how he thinks that one through, pretty sure Xi and the Southern states of Russia and the rest of the planet won't find it amusing not to need lighting for the next 20,000 years. Good news will be no more little Vladomirs, at least none with 10 fingers and toes. ZNPP is 6 1Gw reactors... that's 3.4Gw thermal output, and spent fuel for what, 25 years, sitting in the same location needing cooling, and Vlad thinks it's amusing to melt the whole thing down at a tributary to the Black Sea, and upwind of the most fertile land in Russia? Rough order, there is about just on 50 times more radiological badness from ZNPP than the one RBMK whoopsie at Chornobyl #4 reactor bingle and corium event.
There is little amusing about the actions at the dam. Of course, once the mess has contaminated the black sea, and has proceeded into the Sea of Marmara, down the Dardanelles and out into the Med, then all bets are off. That would seem to be a terrorist radiological attack against.... Turkey, Romania, Ukraine, Georgia, Greece, Italy, Cyprus, Lebanon, Israel, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, France, Spain, Algeria, Morocco.... (catch breath on the rant...) and.... Portugal... then we are off to the races. The upper flow of Atlantic water is eastbound, into the Med, the lower layers of heavier, colder water flow westwards. Have no idea where radioactive debris will end up, I would think in the lower bits, and that then is an issue to one n' all outside of the med. water flow in the Suez depends on the season, and the position in the system...
Interesting way to make friends and win harts... screw up 35% of global grain production out of a hissy fit. What a whiner. winner whiner, wino, whiner
And for military aviation content: probably makes it open season for every Russian person, and piece of kit in the soon to be irradiated ex annexed, soon to be wasteland bits of Ukraine. That should be an impressive push.Still not convinced on the survivability of the F-35 in beast mode, will be interesting to see though. About time.
And for Civil Aviation content: The NOTAM for that would be interesting.... or the weather forecast... what is the code for radioactive fallout clouds? CBRX? STPU? GLOW? OOPS?

- "It is connected to the Mediterranean Sea by the Bosporus and the Sea of Marmara, and to the Sea of Azov by the Strait of Kerch."
- "Important cities along the Black Sea coast include: Istanbul, Turkey; Burgas, Bulgaria; Constanta, Romania; Odessa, Ukraine; Sochi, Russia; and Poti, Georgia".
- "The population of the greater Black Sea basin is more than 160 million".

D'oh! Corrected. I was looking at a Russian attitude indicator, and ended upside down, and all discombobulated, and there was a fire, a flood, a famine, a Special Military Operation.... It wasn't my fault! East, West, meh, all the same to the lord of the deff star
lol Peter Robinson Walt !
