Not a Caption

I shall judge at some random hour tomorrow morning, once I’m reasonably awake and before the task becomes too large for me to manage!

So you see General, we can get rid of the 8 lazy riflemen and give the remaining platoon member my machine Gun, said Mr Maxim, having been rebutted by the US Army first.

CAPCOM 200816

My initial offering would have been … The young Lt Gruber was pleased to discover some of his comrades had similar leanings.

Anyway … scores on the doors, etc.

Commendations [in order of posting] to …

BusterNein, I’m not a smoker, I was just following orders. (Wrong War, but still funny!)

Nutty … And as your Government official it is my duty to warn you that smoking can kill you, now let's get those fags put out and get back to the trenches ok..... (Ho Ho Ho)

Kiltrash … During a BBC Trace your family tree it was revealed that Doc Martin had German Ancestors (well spotted!)

Historical accuracy Award

Chu Chu … Operation Michael slows as lead units overrun BEF tobacco stores. ('nuff said!)

THE WINNER

Dan Gerous … For God's sake Willi, it's a 10 second exposure. Can't you leave your mobile phone alone for a while?

Trophy en-route, Dan ... no quarantine required from this location!

Thanks MPN11 I wasn't expecting that. I saw this pic earlier in the week, Ref the A400 refugee spotting flights, and thought it would be a good pic for a capcom.

Ahhhh it’s a false alarm, it’s just a couple of kids washed out to sea on an inflatable frankfurter, I suggest we try further up along the coast.

No skipper, that's the 10am Calais to Dover ferry - full of holiday-makers who will need to self-quarantine...

Well it meets the brief, look out for rubber vessels containing new seamen, but it’s a condom...

I know there is a A in it.

They appear to have painted a message on the side of that strange shaped grey vessel, it says..... “Beware of the prop”

Relax, Garrett. I'll hand over the binoculars in plenty of time before we reach that beach.
