Due to budget cuts and staff reductions, recruiting marshallers from local junior go-kart clubs for milk and biscuits proved to be successful as they even bring their own follow-me cars and wands. Beancounters have noted though that milk and biscuit costs have risen more than 400% year to year.

After years on the ramp at Lyneham and Brize, Scruggins' hearing was definitely on the fritz; the WingCo had actually asked him to get a couple of Go Cats to feed the Squadron moggy...

Go-Karts 01 to 70 had fallen victim to Defence cuts.
Who needs expensive 'Follow Me' vehicles when you can have one of these and a shiny torch?

MT budget cuts means no longer funding for individual vehicle lights, therefore all line vehicles will now travel in pairs to avail themselves of the available lighting..

Yesterday, the cloud base was so low that this was the only way of getting across the airfield. Even then, the top of our torch kept disappearing in the murk.
