Military Aviation A forum for the professionals who fly military hardware. Also for the backroom boys and girls who support the flying and maintain the equipment, and without whom nothing would ever leave the ground. All armies, navies and air forces of the world equally welcome here.

Well, after a record breaking 55 entries, many of which were excellent (despite a tantalising no-show from the frothy tourist), it's time to announce this week's winner. After a lengthy committee meeting with my other half I'm delighted to announce...

Joint third place winner with
Buster's
...Gesundheit!
and squeaker's
"'ear guvnor, that jet just in from Affens is full of bubbles!"

Second place and this week's Greg goes to main gear touchdown with
"Libra: a bubbly personality might cause problems at work..."

But the winner and this week's Luke is... (rustling of envelope)...

Roadster280 with
The Lord Flashheart was overheard talking to his groundcrew in stern tones:

"When I said 'soap her up and get her ready for me'......"

Take it away

Many thanks for the nod, I didn't think it was all that great myself, but hey-ho!

Have a crack at this, judging will be 1700 EDT Sunday June 19.

Watch and shoot, watch and shoot.

Mr Bedford, I always thought there was something inhumanly special about your flying skills.....

F35B designers almost "figured it out", but were found out by security before getting it to work...

"Take me to your leader"
"Which one? we now have two"
"The one that makes the decisions"
"Ahhhh, that might be difficult"

or

"We come in search of intelligent life forms"
"Sorry mate, there are just us Royal Navy folks here"

or

"Take me to the Doctor!"
"Sorry mate NHS cuts and all that, he was made redundant"

In the tradition of U-571 & Pearl Harbor, Hollywood screwed up the big budget film version of Dr. Who. They got the Daleks right but somehow, K-9 became GR-9!
