Qantas BKK Cabin Crew base to close???

Looks like Qantas will finally close the BKK base.

Contracts expire end of this roster and not 1 Thai crew has a carry out duty.

The new bid book shows Aus crew now to do the QF1 and QF2 to LHR...

Company is considering sending s/h csm's to ll/h in cat.

This is in the transfer doc to be approved by both sides.

Has to be approved by both parties and they are asking s/h csm's to put in a expression of interest.
L/H Faaa would almost have to take...

All trips are
33hrs in BKK
44hrs in HKG
and 48 Hrs is SIN except one pattern of 28hrs that finish's in March 06.
Single sector 747-400 flying with 3 to 4 days off between trips.

Ask each week what the sick leave is and you get it.

Small base and all CSM's know who got the boot and who has left and each 1/4 we get a tracking report from finance and our GM keeps all finance...
