Hi guys,

I know some private business jets use the registration of the aircraft as their callsign/flight number, but I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how flight numbers are decided...

So far the B737's have been operating the PMI...

So far the B737's have been operating the PMI service instead of the (rumoured) B757s so I don't think there's much chance of them operating ALC either.

The best thing to do is wait until the cabin crew are sat in their seats for takeoff and landing. That way you can snap away without any hassle, works everytime for me :ok:

I believe they'll be back to normal with B757's and B767's, as the B737's are only standing in for the odd one or two B767's which are still on lease to Garuda Indonesia for the winter.

Unfortunately we won't be seeing any A340s from VS again up here at MAN for a long while. They're concentrating more on their A346 expansion at LHR and are getting rid of their remaining A343's...
