Going for the record. It will be hard to beat…
From mobilization to captivity in 3 days |
A frank look at the mobilised and well worth watching
|
Quality of the units turning up at the front - and these are the ones with some training - those mobilised haven’t arrived in numbers yet….
Pro-Russian Vostok battalion commander Aleksandr Khodakovsky tells about the dire situation with mobiks who do crazy stuff like driving into enemy positions and placing ammo in the open; blames generals for not establishing proper teamwork. |
This does not make sense, it shows a British soldier in Ukraine dragging / recovering the body of a dead American to safety... Who is filming it??

To have an EMP effect the explosion has to take place in the upper atmosphere. The effect wasn't discovered until an American high altitude burst 'Starfish Prime' took place, knocking out some power in Hawaii, 900 miles from the detonation center. The altitude of the shot was about 250 miles. A tactical low altitude burst wouldn't cause a major EMP event. It certainly would cause other effects.....
He also mentions that the Euro grid is not EMP hardened, whereas the Russian grid has been hardened. The US is supposedly looking at hardening their own grid. The Mitchell Institute's Nuclear Deterrence and Missile Defense Forum hosts Dr. Peter Pry, Executive Director of Task Force on National and Homeland Security for a discussion on evolving events in Ukraine, the performance of the Russian military, NATO, U.S. responses, and implications for the future. |
It all continues to get worse. The conscripts are arriving with nothing to nothing, no support at all, no-one knows what to do, They will all starve and freeze to death within a month.

Probably worth removing them early for hygiene. |
A hit YPR765 appears to carry on burning possibly to give the rest of the column a protective smokescreen. If true that takes balls.

Does anyone have anything further on the affect of sanctions on the opertional capability of the likes of Aeroflot with their fleets of A320 etc?
Its been a while now and Flight Radar shows plenty of Aeroflot operated flights still. Or are these simply carrying large number of deficiences? |
Some Aviation Content from pasta and ORAC, originally posted at JB. This was related to "How does one know what caused the pipeline damage to Nordstreams?".

The USN had ASW helicopters searching the area a couple of days ago so presumably had detected something - I doubt they were attracting attention to any of their own assets.

https://twitter.com/Military_oO/stat...11562158964737 Shades of 'he stuck with the plane to avoid crashing into the school/nursery/orphanage' there, Nutloose. More likely not thinking of anyone or anything else other than his own self-preservation at that point, and was just trying to clear himself from the danger area. That the smoke from his burning vehicle obscured his comrades was little more than a happy happenstance, I'd suggest. |

I concur ... let's not turn all Ukranians into SuperHeroes.
Even though many of them undoubtedly are. |

Regarding Nordstream - is it possible that a cyber attack could have taken it out by manipulating the pumps and valves?
