Agreed, despite the odd title, this thread is one of my regular fixes. It’s a fascinating series of vital insights for me especially as I do not do social media. There is nothing to say really, but the war is a constant concern. Take this away and the withdrawal symptoms would not be good.

Please don't interpret the fact that fewer comments are being made as lack of interest. At least for my part it is just because I don't feel I have something meaningful to add. Still reading with great interest.

I for one regularly refresh my browser to see what is going on on this thread, at the expense of other Prune threads.
This thread is invaluable because of the wealth of knowledge that is found on here. Sometimes the discussion is clipped by one or two posters who are less than subtle in their responses and this does stifle debate.
During the dark few months of this war, I found myself very unsettled. To the point of actively weighing up options to serve again. My learn'd friends on here helped me through this and help me reassure other veterans that helping spread the truth will defeat the insane hate and vengeance from the Russian troll farms and the excusers.
We all have a small part to play in this fight and your part is very important in not letting the lies get traction. Thanks Nutty.

I will carry on then, thanks, I now know people are still reading it, I just found it difficult to know if that was the case as there were getting fewer and fewer posts from anyone else, but now I know it's still being read I will plod on

I must admit, I have been considering stopping posting on this thread as no one appears to be interested anymore as I feel i am probably the only poster on it these days..
It surprises me that people appear to becoming bored of it, as it is without doubt the greatest threat to the World and Europe since WW2 with the possibility of an even worse outcome for mankind..
I have been trying to keep the thread up to date and relevent, but it is hard work when you have no one seemingly interested in bouncing discussions off..

PLB Targets
PLB batteries are designed to have a 24 hour transmission life; so, if used for targeting it may be worthwhile repositioning them to the other side by counter drone, provided they are not booby trapped.
Large scale deployment of transmitting PLBs may saturate satellite and ground station capabilities; so perhaps better to turn off if not booby trapped.
The other effect of mass PLB deployment is saturation of 121.5 and 243.0. Is this RF intention, or unintended consequence?
Many PLBs transmit GPS location, but most drones already have that capability. Ultimately I am unsure how scattering of PLBs helps the orcs.
Speculation: The orcs could be collecting target GPS coordinates and using that to target missiles.

European Union foreign and defense ministers agreed on Monday to spend up to 2 billion euros, or $2.14 billion, to supply Ukraine with badly needed artillery shells, replenish their own national stocks and ramp up Europe’s ammunition production.
But as is typical for the bloc and its 27 member states, the details of the agreement must still be worked out and questions remain about the speed of the response — a crucial matter as Ukraine prepares for a spring counteroffensive.
Germany’s defense minister, Boris Pistorius, and his Estonian counterpart, Hanno Pevkur, said after an initial meeting that there had been agreement on the goal of supplying one million rounds of artillery ammunition to Ukraine and instituting some joint procurement of new stocks.
Mr. Pistorius said that ministers will later on Monday “sign the respective documents,” while Germany would also let other countries join in its contracts with German defense manufacturers since speed was of the essence. “Our goal has to be to ship a significant amount of munitions to Ukraine before the end of this year,” he said.
Mr. Pevkur said that “there are many, many details still to solve, but for me, it is most important that we conclude these negotiations and it shows me one thing: If there is a will, there is a way.”
With Ukraine using up artillery shells faster than the West can produce them, the Europeans are pushing ahead with a three-part program.
The first part, which is most urgent, involves pressing member states to send artillery shells from their own dwindling stocks to Ukraine, using €1 billion to reimburse them.
