What the trainee needs is training on how to handle the weapon before actually firing it.
Not really. This is a replacement for weapons already deployed and does not - as publicised - do anything to increase explosive yield, just accuracy.

Quite. I can't help thinking the whole thing may be a spoof, with the 'trainee' deliberately acting the fool. Given the order to fire, who on earth would remove the magazine?

More on the two tug boats being attacked. There is an image circulating of what is claimed to be a tug boat on fire - I checked and this dates from 2019.

Off topic, aviation content, but reflective of the Russian approach to weapons development. The story of the 'development' of the first Russian jet, the MIG-9, with some interesting referrals to the barriers to success and the way the Russians just sort of pushed ahead, ignoring problems and not testing. We still see the same things today in Ukraine.... Fascinating how things don't change.
