Once you think the Russians really couldn't cock up any worse, they top it. Today they've already driven to a visible minefield, overran their own troops and lost the world first drone dogfight, they end the day by hitting their own buildings with their S300's

Of course, Russian media claims it was done by UKR arty, but it would be out of range unless UKR had artillery right by the border shooting excaliburs, which on the other hand wouldn't stray to a residential building and they would not place arty right on the front line.

Russian military 24/7 reality sitcom, better than Friends and Seinfeld combined.

Do not forget..
Among the tanks donated to Ukraine are updated T55’s which were up gunned with the Centurions main gun.
In a war you take what you can get.

Very true, and that upgrade was done in the 90's. Luckily they did a lot of other upgrades as well and have modern munitions available. Although haven't seen any mentions of those in action yet.

Mig 29 apparently technical issues, successful ejection. Chasing cruise missiles, drones, etc. Some reports it was drone debris.

Every extra day involves MORE suffering!

Russia In my opinion already after this disastrous campaign has set itself back 3/4 of a century and will remain in its box as an international pariah for a long long time!

Pile in international support to Ikraine with the latest weaponry in quick time and kick this evil man out of Ukraine ( including Crimea ) in the quickest time possible - not a day should be wasted!
Totally agree Bob, half of the problem I can see was the Wests reluctance early on to give the Ukrainians the means to thwart Russias attack, if they had given them HIMARS etc when requested who knows how many lives could have been saved and how much territory would have been saved from the horrors inflicted upon it and their people.

Pro-war blogger Anastasia Kashevarova is outraged by reports of zinc coffins with the bodies of recently mobilised men already returning to Russian cities

"You told us there would be training, that they wouldn't be sent to the front after a week"

That's probably true with hindsight, but early on nobody really thought Russia would be so bad or Ukraine so good. It was generally assumed that Kiev would fall and the country would be overrun. It would have made little sense to send advanced and very expensive weapons just for them to be taken by Russia.

Who’s not a happy bear?

Top Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov says Russians were so excited to see the latest strikes against Ukraine, because they weren't sure there was enough weaponry in their storehouses, since their uniforms, equipment and ammunition for the mobilized are nowhere to be found.

1. Not necessarily true.
2. I moved over 100 posts to their own thread about the Kerch Bridge.
3. I have removed the more recent sniping, however.

Never saw it, but I let it go over my head these days. Not worth the hassle.

First of the Russian conscripts from Moscow returning home.

Here is the 28yo former head of dept in Moscow city gov’t, drafted Sept 23, killed Oct 10.

This chip from Kh-101 ALCM, which tried to hit Klitschko bridge on October 10, was made in March 2019, i.e. the missile was even newer. As a rule, the oldest things are used up first. The production is 3 missiles a month. Means Russia has only a few dozen Kh-101s left.

Turkey abstained….

For so long we’ve called on the world to call a spade a spade. Slowly but but surely, the world is finally realising the truth.

Today the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe 99 votes out of 100 has adopted a resolution calling the Russian Federation a terrorist regime
