Metadata from the messaging app Telegram indicates that pro-Russian separatist leaders created videos ordering "emergency" evacuations from eastern Ukraine two days ago, but posted them on Friday, Bellingcat first reported and Axios can confirm.
Why it matters: U.S. officials have for days now accused Russia of preparing to fabricate a pretext to invade Ukraine. The two-day-old metadata from the leaders of the self-declared Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics could undermine claims that they ordered the evacuations due to an imminent threat of a Ukrainian offensive.

I can't see twitter in this browser with the anti tracking etc stuff I run, but, having seen similar posts elsewhere, there was suspicion that it was one of the feeder lines, and it's already extinguished.
There are also tweets out there saying the separatist leaders both filmed their evacuation videos, mentioning the February 18th date a few days ago - tiktok keeps the metadata.
Again there are also tweets out there suggesting military vehicles have crossed from Russia in to separatist controlled areas.
As far as I'm concerned, a Russian military operation has started, and I think Vlad is going to try to get all the way to Dnieper and take Kiev.

Why would the Ukraine set fire to a gas line in an area they do not hold, when they could simply do it in an area they do lol..

Interesting point made here - not so much about the location of the convoy near the Ukrainian border, but the wide spacing of the convoy….
