Moscow. February 19th. INTERFAX.RU - The head of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People's Republic, Leonid Pasechnik, signed a decree on a general mobilization on the territory of the republic.
"I decide: to announce a general mobilization on the territory of the Lugansk People's Republic," the text of his decree reads.
The document notes that within the framework of the decree, it is forbidden for men aged 18 to 55 to leave the LPR.
In addition, the decree states that the executive bodies of state power are now empowered to seize vehicles and other property "necessary for the needs of defense" from enterprises, institutions, organizations and citizens.
Previously, general mobilization had been declared in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic .
