To think NATO has been afraid of Russia. How shameful that looks now. At least we are turning the tide with weapons.
Makes you wonder if NATO had stomped on Russia 15 years ago with their first incursions we wouldn't be in this mess.

Meanwhile in Russia the media is reporting the events in it's own way ie. "theres nothing to see here, move along". As the media in the west has its finger on the pulse, it is hard to find any news in Russian media. Just a few short mentions of "shelling of kherson" or "missile strikes in kherson" or "outstanding victory, billions of Ukrainian tanks destroyed".
But this article is the most telling of them all: since this has been written this morning and the emphasis is so strong that nothing is happening there, the Russians on Kherson are are probably about to collapse. And who's the one saying so? the same a**hole who has fled the area (see ORAC's post #8649 )

I wonder if there is any truth in it? trouble is that still does not get rid of the combat effectiveness of them, they simply become an obstacle to overcome further down the line. The fact they are allegedly negotiating means they know they are stuffed, it will also allow those wanted for warcrimes to escape.
The remaining Russian command in Kherson is secretly negotiating with the Ukrainian military to declare Kherson an open city. In exchange for allowing an evacuation with light weapons for the Russian occupiers in Kherson. The agreement does not apply to collaborators!

In Feodosia, two cars burned overnight Near the house № 35 along the Simferopol highway and along Chkalova, 96a. As it turned out, both cars belong to the Russians who came to rest. welcome from here
