Whilst everyone agreed that it was an efficient method of delivering the balloon artillery decoys, their arrival in pieces somewhat diminished the effect.

Hoskins, having opened the breech looked up it and could not see the sky, curiosity got the better of him and he climbed up the barrel. He did not however hear the tank commander call, 'Load 1 HE and fire'
