Ok chaps, lesson for us all, we have to monitor contracted out maintenance properly in future! What would happen if we let this sort of thing happen again to say, the ATC gliders?"

Bomber Command's first full motion simulator is unveiled - shortly before the whole shebang disappeared after the bomb aimer said "bombs gone"

If you reduce aircraft weight then you can carry a heavier bomb/fuel load!
