Yes, LM, I was drawn to the wings which have something B-17ish about them.... Apart from that I can see much American about it...

Did the yanks ever consider wooden airliners? Did Boeing? I'm not sure.

Hi LM. No, the EF-100 was the 6 engine version of the EF-53, which was to be a 4 engine aircraft, capable of flight from Germany to the USA.

Spot on one11! Got it from an old Aeroplane Monthly magazine which described it as "based on outdated ideas which were no longer commercially acceptable."
