Just a minute Graeme..I think there is ground for nitpicking here...if you look at all the posts you'll see that with my post #3450 at 12,05 I first suggested that the manufacturer involved might be Stout Metal Airplane ( at 13,34 I reedited it just adding the supposed plane names)...don't you think this was instrumental in leading the way to the Skycar? Besides the reason that I couldn't investigate further was due to the fact that aerofiles was (and I believe still is) unnaccessible yesterday.
Anyway if you want to give honours to LM is OK with me (much the more so because I would declare open house anyway being absent for the next day or so). I don't want to make an issue out of it we are all here to amuse ourselves not to banter
cheers
carson
BTW Graeme's fitrst reply is 12.09 (mine though incomplete 12.05)

Good morning all, and good evening Noyade.
I have a very heavy lecture programme this morning.
I'll post around 1230 GMT. That's probably 1330 A in Italy/Denmark/Germany and 2130 A eastern Oz.
Must dash.

Forgive me for saying so, but this is all getting a little too competitive. Carson suggested a Stout product at 1105, but LM correctly identified the Stout Skycar at 1109. I don't see the issue here....if there was a silhouette of a Boeing 707 and I identified it as Boeing I could hardly claim to have won. Sure by saying Boeing I have indeed given someone a big clue, but thats the risk I take. Sorry Carson but have to agree with Graeme on this.

Children, children. Stop this bickering immediately!
Now let's go back to playing like nice boys and girls on this interesting thread.

I think seacue is correct and as far as I'm concerned I already stopped bickering though I don't share Skytrain's view at all on this subject and I hold my opinion.
Sorry to cause a little problem and let's go ahead and as I said let's amuse ourselves

Include me out on this most Jodel-ish thing. I'll have to take care of my job today. Have fun.
Jodel D.140 Mousquetaire maybe. If right, then open house. Please!
You are probably right. I had this to look at.
Jodel D.140 Mousquetaire -
All the other 140 I saw have a taller fin.

Agricultural, tri gear, swept tips, piston engine, not a Fletcher. Shouldn't be that hard. Good night.
Thought so too, but not enough. Bet RR is laughing. ^_^
