zetec2 is close. Yes it is French and yes it has relationship with the Emeraude.
However, it is known under a different name and I understand 2 or 3 may have been built, including one in Italy

CP100 "Mascaret"?
Edit: No, it is not.....
Lets try Robert Denize RD.105 Raid-Driver (or RD.130 as aback-up); connection being Piel's early work with Ronald / Robert Denize.

Hi RegDep, indeed Robert Denize`s Raid Driver.
Based on the Emeraude, but stretched fuselage and more glass in cockpit area. The first one was Denize`s own RD-105 and at least 2 further a/c, also in France, as RD-105. Then there is an RD-20/150 of 1989 also named Raid Driver, but could not yet figure out reason for different designation. One aircraft (registered I-VIDB) built in Italy.
You have control, Sir

Good moning LM,
Thanks; it's going to be one of those days today, half the staff away on holiday, sick or delivery/commissioning, builders back after the rain last week to dig the foundations and a new co-ordinate measuring machine arriving at eleven.
I'll leave my light on and monitor as often as I can. (if it's correct that is!)
Edited to say I think it had better be 008 now mate as I gotta be off fairly early tonight, so that one should be long gone!!
