Fairchild Canada was located in Longueuil, Quebec, so, you could call it a French plane. ;-)

Are we still in the French section of your source?

Aubert PA-204 Cigale perhaps?

Cheers,
Graeme.

How about a re-engined Hillson Praga? (Yeah I know, I'm running out of ideas...)

Although Noyade may be the closest so far the Pragas seem to be too angular. This one is more curvy? RR

RR - quite right, its not a Praga but had more than the unbraced wing in common.

This one seems to be causing problems, maybe not surprising as Googling it only came up with a single reference. So, in the interests of restarting a stalled thread.............
It was a Czech design shown at the 1946 Paris Air Show, where, incredibly, only just over a year after the end of WW2, the Czech industry was the third largest exhibitor, after France and the UK. There were two prototypes built with slightly different designations.

Well done Carson1934. The Avia Bojar. The contemporary report of the 1946 show lists it as an Av36 with this picture at Paris.

But i also found this listed as an Av236

Either way you have control............................Doug

Nice one one11.

That ran for 56 hours and 48 minutes, which could be a record.
