Agree, nothing new there, as it was part of the planning permission for 18m. As I said the application is just to put 19m through the front door without doing any improvements.

Reading it again permission is only granted subject to 49 being completed. As the parallel taxiway was never completed it reads to me that the 18m limit is still locked in until the work is done?

That's how I read it. This part.
Annex B
2. Details of the timescale for the commencement of Phase 3 works comprising (i) Taxiway 26 (Golf) and (ii) north apron extension, as shown on As Built Masterplan Plan with Phases Labelled drawing, received November 2023 (INQ-86) (hereinafter referred to as Phase 3) of the development shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to its commencement. The scheme as approved shall be implemented in accordance with the approved timescales.
So is the above a proposed Taxiway 26 Gulf?
......received November 2023.
Yet to find INQ-86

Taxiway still won’t reach the end of the runway. Half a job comes to mind. A bit like not putting in sprinklers and finding your car park has burned to the ground. . Yes I think the extension is Golf from memory.

The 32m master plan shows 2 Alpha extensions at 25 end, only the second goes to the turning circle so I assume will require more major earthworks but the documents today also talk about piling so I assume it's not just a case of laying a foundation and concrete over the top.
Should aid flow though and go some way to relief from "you are #8 for departure" whilst waiting to depart along the Alpha Taxiway.

This is where I'm confused about the master plan.
"
"
- To access the four northern Code C stands, a section of new Taxiway Golf would be constructed with a link taxiway connecting this to Taxiway Foxtrot.
- 4.6.14
An extension to Taxiway Foxtrot to the north would be constructed to allow aircraft to bypass the existing T1 East Apron to minimise taxiway congestion."

I drove past the Dart at Parkway today at around 9:40 and noticed 2 ordinary Arriva single deckers at the station with no queuing passengers that I could see.
Yesterday morning, at 6:30, I got a text from an angry friend that he and his wife were forced to queue in the rain with no shelter rather than queue just inside the building at Parkway, which was in spitting distance. He said it took half an hour to get to the terminal, which is better than my estimated hour on day one after the fire.

If the fire at Liverpool is an example, the undamaged cars will be scrapped due to safety concerns in retrieving them.

Are you now the official Luton Airport helpline.
What type of friend texts someone at 06.30 complaining about something like that 🤔

His Luton return flight was cancelled due to the fire and ended up being transferred onto a Gatwick flight the following night. He eventually got back to Luton Airport Parkway where he needed to get to the terminal to catch the bus to the long term car park. I said 6:30 but it was actually 6:14 that he contacted me.
