And if that is per seat is that sold seats or total seats, as the total could be vastly different. The only noise difference I can tell are the A300 cargo flights. Not for the noise generated, as I can’t tell the difference but the engine tone

“While there’s a difference in opinion on the exact figure, we must remember that the valuation of London Luton Airport has increased from £530m to about £1.3bn.
The auditors disagree and won’t sign off the accounts.

The actual operating loss for 2021/22 was £15m compared to £20m the previous year,” she added.
So she is right and the auditors are wrong, as they said the operating loss was £137.84m vs a loss of £133.5m the year before.

Also LRT have capitalised the £60m spent on the DCO as an investment rather than signing it off as an expense as it was spent, which is another issue the auditors are not happy about.

Aena, the majority shareholder of London Luton Airport Operations Limited (LLA), has opened applications for the second round of its Aena Ventures innovation program.
Not that interesting, as this is an Aena initiative and not a LLAOL initiative, so I would think this will focus on Spanish entrants.

An English speaking article which specifically says "In addition, the five selected start-ups will benefit from access to mentors from Aena, as well as the use of its facilities such as LLA to test ideas."?

Ryebridge seem to win every airport contract. Competitive tendering, mates rates or something else I haven’t thought of.

I think the "worlds busiest FBO" claim is a bit of an exaggeration .........Try looking at various FBO's at TEB (or PBI in the winter) in the USA for proper busy!

There is a good plus point having your plant & manpower local.

I have dealt with Government & Council tenders, you build a relationship and if you let accounts only accept the lowest bid, it is a recipe for cost overun or project failure. Either way not good value for the public purse.

As for the BizJets, haven't I said before, lay more concrete! If take a trip down to Farnborough or Biggin you will see they are packed as well. All bringing extra income to the areas.

Yes who cares about the phoney climate emergency and those mad tree huggers. Luton is on the top of a hill so won’t sink but I seem to remember the CTA and terminal being flooded on more than one occasion. As for those South Sea Islands, the populations can all move, as it doesn’t affect me.

"Phoney climate change"

"Mad tree huggers"

As for those South Sea Islands,
"The population can all move"

"It doesn't affect me"

🤔😡😠

From this outrageous post and those of a previous nature it just goes to show that you have serious issues with life, absolutely disgusting and disgraceful comments. It's obvious that your not really tuned into reality, it's obvious that you are a very self centered individual.

Have you even been to those South Sea Islands because I have. I can assure you that they are far more beautiful than your beloved Luton town.

Have you been to the artic and seen the decline in the ice flows with the rapid glacier shrinkage and rising sea levels because I have and it's a real threat.

I have been to 327 places in 93 countries. I've visited little Luton town and it's tin shed airport perched on the hill a few times in the past, first visit in 1973. Your total ignorance as shown in this latest post is unbelievable.

I used to really enjoy reading your posts a few years ago and I mean that but something has happened over the last few years and your posts show a more darker side to you.

It was total sarcasm. Thank you for your rage. Those comments deserved your response but I expect my comments are the secret views of a few here. The world needs protecting but most people here are in denial, as are the airport owner (LRT), the airport operator and the Council, who is the true owner and who is plotting to nearly double the airport. As for the Council, they are all two faced hypocrites of the lowest order. They have declared a climate emergency but have excluded what flies into Luton from their climate declaration.

As for Pabely, well what can I say, let’s cover everything in concrete. No, I don’t think so.

I have been to 327 places in 93 countries.
Have you considered that you are part of the problem?

Apologies for going off-topic, but couldn't resist:
Best not even mention the club which requires you to have visited 100 countries just to become a member then... they even have a branch in London with occasional meet-ups.
