See its TCX's turn with the delays at BFS just now. Huge delay on the 215 Arrecife, and almost 3 hours on the 874 Reus. The Dalaman 955 in 15 minutes early, was this a sub-chatered aircraft, if so anyone know what this was???

Aer Arann Cork/Belfast City flight will land at Belfast International as it is late. Due to depart Belfast International at 2330.
I still don't know what the policy is on these late arrivals at BHD.
1. Has the latest planning review kicked in yet ie. do airlines pay fines to community groups
2. How come FR are allowed to land a large loud jet from EMA on Thursday night at 22.45 then take-off again at some time after 23.00+, another 738 at 23.00hrs arrives from STN+ on the same night. Yet BEE and RE who use aircraft more suited to the airport get diverted after 22.00 hrs on occasion. Is this down to bullying tactics be FR.
Oh dear caught in the act again of spotting arrivals boards at airports. Does anybody know of any support groups for this condition. I have been suffering this for several years now, on average 3-4 times per day per airport. With over 300 airports I glance at, leaves me with very little time to enjoy life.

I believe that all party“s at BHD have to agree 2 keep sufficent staff on to cover a delayed arrival after 21:30. Organisations such as Fire and Rescue, Security, ATC, Handling agents, and other relevent airport departments. If there“s more than 1 flight delayed after the 21:30 deadline then it“s more likely the airport will remain open.
I may be wrong but thats what i“ve been told my different people. Maybe someone can confirm this!

Airport arrival board addiction
Gate 22,
Congratulations. The first step is admitting you have a problem.
see "Airport arrival board addiction.com" and also "Airport departure board addiction.com", if this also applies? Well done you're not on your own and there is help out there.
Best regards,

On some sunday's Flybe and Bombardier do a 'demonstration/pleasure' flight out of BHD for school children. Not 100% sure on the details, just a short flight to demonstrate/show off the Dash and flying i believe.

how did you listen to aldergroves atc?
I haven't listened to Aldergrove approach 120.???? or the tower 118.3 for probably 15 years now. In those days I used a portable airband radio. However I am not up to scratch these days with technology, I know you can listen to BBC radio online-this may be a daft question but can you listen to airband frequencies online? My guess would be no.

Its a quirky situation (not that I am an expert) but it is illegal to listen to ATC but I have never heard of anyone getting prosecuted, bearing in mind that at many airports there are groups of people with binoculars in one hand and radios in the other, but, it is more frowned upon to broadcast it and within the UK I have never heard of it happening in any widespread way.
There are numerous websites that do broadcast ATC from other parts of the world, if you go onto Listen to Live Air Traffic Control Communications | LiveATC.net you will find a few

"can you listen to airband frequencies online? My guess would be no."
The aforementioned www.liveatc.net is the main one and has a live feed for Dublin ATC but UK airports are strictly banned. Even when someone did post a feed for Durham airport on that site, the regulator OFCOM were on to the website in a flash demanding that it be removed. Being an American website they didn't have to obey but did so anyway out of respect for British laws. The Wireless Telegraphy Act bans listening anywhere but if you're minding your own business in a British airport they turn a blind eye. Not so with websites however.
PS Gate 22 , Aldergrove Radar is now 128.50

Thanks for that, I will have to go out and buy a radio. Anybody recommend a Belfast shop for airband radio's or is it better to buy online. Any recommendations for a hand held model. The last one I had was a we sharp job. But I haven't used it in well over 15 years.

Jet2.com
And Dubrovnik and Newquay from Belfast, at the expense of the Barcelona route which is now withdrawn for S09.
As yet nothing on the Jet2.com or BFS website. Think overall a sensible move away from over capacity on BCN, and Excellent to get Dubrovnik. Wonder will the Dunbrovnik charter shared with Shannon still operate for 09 now, and how will this effect FlyBE Newquay???

Newquay!!! a 737 to Newquay must be once a week with already a BE service. Jet 2 seem to be having a we go against BE with LBA, JER, and now Newquay (if indeed true). What about the west of France - La Rochelle or Bordeaux.
