Well my fingers are crossed that Jet2 will get some if not all, Falcons work, perhaps meaning we get to keep a second 737 or even the 757 over the winter! This is just my own personal feelings though! Other options are as you say a TCX A321 or even keeping the 2nd TCX A320? Wonder if FCA would ever consider a year round BFS base?!

Do you think EI will cut a Dublin/LHR return and use the slot for BFS/LHR. They have an opportunity of increasing the numbers and yield on the LHR/BFS corridor, but they could improve on the 3 returns during the winter by shuffling with the their DUB/LHR corridor. I know this has been discussed before, but with a review taking place on every route by EI - it could come out in the washing.

Depends on how much money they are prepared to lose. They may be improving market share on BFS-LHR but giving the seats away to do it must've cost a fortune.

GSM725 GLASGOW 09:40 CANCELLED

From BFS arrivals board

Worrying development-does this mean that the outbound flight to Sanford has been cancelled, as it is still showing checkin.
Who can you trust on T/A flights only-CO

BMI Baby's pax numbers have tumbled considerably over the last year. Obviously FR on EMA/BHD hasn't helped. But the seemingly random cancellation of flights must put so many customers off flying with them. 2 flights later this afternoon, Manchester and East Midlands both cancelled.

The two occasions I have flown with BMI baby have put me off ever flying with them again, first occasion they cancelled my early flight from BHX-BFS and said they could not get us home until around 1800, this was at 0600. 2nd occasion they cancelled the MAN flight and put the MAN pax on the EMA flight and bused us to MAN, they even seemed to think they were doing us a favour! I would go so far as to say that Ryanair are better in more or less all respects than Baby!

I've only flown with baby a few times - kept to schedule and friendly crew but aircraft interiors grotty and not enough legroom. What sort of notice have they been giving their pax of cancellations?

Just posted this on another thread about baby cancellations but it is just as relevant here. BFS is losing some of my business as a result.

The BFS-EMA cancellation is actually fairly normal now. They usually cancel the 18:00 from BFS most days.
This was certainly the case yesterday. The high numbers of canx flights this summer is just the sort of thing that makes me prefer alternative routes /carriers when I can

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but would appear that Wizz are pulling out of BFS complately at the end of the summer schedule. They ended Katowice fairly recently and now Warsaw not on sale after the end of October.

With the economy the way it is, NI is not so alluring for Polish workers, however this time last year we had Wizz to Katowice and Warsaw, both will vanish, and Easyjet Gdansk, which has been pulled. Shame to see more and more routes pulled from BFS.

There is a PC-12 based there which I see regularly, so that might have been it.

GSM726 Sanford Orlando 07:05 15:50 DELAYED TO
GSM736 GLASGOW 15:50

Does the GSM736 from Glasgow route originally from Sanford, or is there a duplication here as the first GSM is delayed to 15.50, however its a different flight number.

FRBHD,

I like most people flick through several sites at opportune times during the day and generally that involves a peep at the arrivals board at BFS, occasionally BHD. Maybe that makes me an anorak - but I don't really care.
