Sorry - still not working, even if IT have been to work. And anyway, shouldn't a website be tested before going public??

Cork 2011
It looks as if Ryanair are the only airlne in expansionist mood at Cork. Hopefully they will benefit from the new DAA incentive scheme. Northern Italy is a no brainer them as there is an established market for people who prefer Lakes, Mountains and beautiful Cities to buckets, shovels and tacky theme parks.

FR are putting pressure on some German airprots to lower airport charges so fares won't rise with the €8 each way tax. Cuts due to be announced soon.
Kerry will lose Weeze and Faro has being cut to 1 weekly flight.
BGY and TSF done very well while at SNN. BGY was year round and loads were very good during the winter.

we will all see tommorow!
Surely the one extra aircraft for the summer months will be kept busy operating all of last year's routes and there won't be much capacity left over for any new routes...
If there is I'll, of course, be praying for Cork to Charleroi. With Shannon to Charleroi cancelled and Dublin to Charleroi reduced there's never been a better moment.

Like the new EI Cork Palma flight the above well enough intended effort by the crowd up at Cork Airport fantasy land is just too late?
It is very sad really. Get used to the M8 ladies and gents - that's the direction where most new routes and some old routes for Cork are heading, eg winter Barcelona and Geneva, excluding the dopey one weekly Geneva flight.
Getting Barcelona back for the summer schedule after so many years of it being an all year round route is welcome and maybe that is the best crowd up at Cork can do.
It may be all too late though?
It will be some 50th anniversary up at Cork when the time comes.

nued onto ACE but, had 2 TOGA's and then diverted to FUE.
If flights were cancelled/rescheduled for crewing or weather reasons then it is for ops reasons, what other explanation can people want? Of course I can see a "I'm never flying from Cork/with Aer Lingus" again reaction coming on from passengers...

No. There is no such manouver as a "takeoff go around". You do one or the other. If anyone understood you they (like you) must be misguided. Like I said already TOGA is refered to as a power setting on an aircraft.

EI Diversion
I wonder was Thursday's diversion from ACE to FUE related to EI's difficulty with landing on the Southerly Runway down there after dark. Last winter there was frequent disruption as a result of this policy. The Irish departures were changed this year to ensure a landing in daylight but the diversion to Oporto would have pushed the landing back to after Sunset.
Does anyone know if other airlines have this policy?
