I think we might both be correct here!
Tuesday
Depart BOH 06:30
Arrive BOH 10:50
This appears to operate from 31/3 until 2/6 and must be a BOH a/c.
Saturday
Depart BOH 15:45
Arrive BOH 20:05
This appears to operate from 4/4 until 30/5 and must be a BOH a/c.
Tuesday & Saturday
Arrive BOH 17:35
Depart BOH 18:00
The time of the Saturday flight changes from 6/6 and Tuesday from 9/6. Both must be a REU a/c.
Thursday
Arrive BOH 18:55
Depart BOH 19:20
This flight commences 4/6 and must be a REU a/c.
I haven't worked out what the BOH based aircraft will be doing once the REU based one takes over! All tied in with the possible extra based aircraft in July and the further expansion of routes that you mentioned?
Also thought it was odd that this flight has taken over the Milan/Bergamo flight numbers.

Thank you, BOU-PAX. As you seem to fly from there a lot, how are the landings and take-offs? From a review I read they seem to be semi-crashes.
I heard they had to hit the ground really hard to be in room to stop...
And will Ryanair be continuing or discontinuing the BOU-Poland routes?
And would Ryanair do a BOU to Seville?
Thanks.
Nikolai

Sorry, but you have been badly misinformed about BOH's runway. It's 7451 feet long which is more than ample for the 737's, 757's, A320's and A330's that regularly land, indeed most of the 737's and A320's which Ryanair, ThomsonFly and EasyJet use every day barely use half the runway on landing. I've landed there numerous times and never felt like I've had a hard or bad landing.
In fact the only planes I've seen recently come in hard and fast were the Red Arrows (but to be fair they were also upside down and spraying red smoke at the time....)
With regards to BOH-SVQ routes, sorry but as far as I know, that route has never even been rumoured on here as a possible but it is a RyanAir destination so never say never.

It's a pretty strange remark to make - that landings are semi-crashes!?! This cannot be a serious post.
The 2271m runway has no obstacles at either end, will soon be cat III and has just been resurfaced. Pilots have told me they love the runway and approach in BOH - if anything SOU runway 30 miles up the road is unsafe for aircraft larger than ERJ and 146 especially when wet.
If landing from the east at BOH the displaced threshold means the landing distance available is shorter, but still OK for up to B767-300.
B747SP and aircraft such as DC-10/MD-11/B777 and A330/40 have flown in and have had no problems. A fully laden B747-200 with 440 economy passengers took off from the airports runway several times.

I read it in a review of Bournemouth airport, I will try and find the link - he was complaining about everything.
Disappointed that the Wroclaw route is going, but very happy about the Krakow or/and Warsaw routes.
I am looking forward to flying from there soon - probably on a Girona route.
Thank you.
Nikolai
P.S
I don't know English very well - what does cat III mean? Thank you!

Don't worry, your English is far better than most of our Polish!!!
CAT III (Instrument landing system - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) is a type of instrument landing system used in low visibility.
Bournemouth has recently been doing overnight works to upgrade the existing system to be rated CAT III (reportedly as a request from RyanAir before they committed too many planes to be based here). I believe this may be close to being finished, if not already completed.
Bournemouth is a small regional airport servicing 1m passengers per year currently undergoing massive expansion and renovation. Details of all the works can be found here Bournemouth Airport : Development and the first phase is due to be completed by Easter 2010.

Thank you! If anyone here does speak Polish or Russian - please say so. A lot easier for me to say what I am thinking!
I hope Ryanair announces the new Bournemouth to Poland routes soon - as I need to book them cheaply!
Does anyone have information when the Krakow/Warsaw routes will be available?
I undertsnad what Cat III landing system is, does that mean it is safer to land there or just easier?
Thank you for explaining it to me - maybe I might see you in there soon!
Thanks,
Nikolai.

Provisional December stats show 71,100 passengers used BOH last month, up 8% on December '07.
That makes 1,084,691 passengers for 2008. Down about 4,500 on 2007 figures. Remember though that the figures included for November and December are provisional and will go up a little, so should go past 1,085,000 when complete.

Nikolai,
Ryanair have been known for their rather heavy landings at times. I've certainley experienced a few of them myself, not just at BOH, but elsewhere too and the other pax certainley seem to notice judging by the looks they give each other ! The runway length isn't an issue even when wet, It's just the way RYR do it !
I think the flight deck crew must have all been carrier pilots in another life and still think they're flying F-4's/Etendards etc

Bournemouth routes
Just a regular Bournemouth traveller here, who has been perusing the latest timetables to see where he can get to.
There must be some more routes to come for the Ryanair aircraft based at BOH. Either that or the timetables are not final yet - quite likely knowing Ryanair.
Mon and Wed seem the same as they are now -
0630 to PIK. Back at 0930, then 0955 to Malaga. Back at 1540, then 1630 to Murcia
Tue seems to be 0630 to Reus, back at 1050. But there is a 0955 departure to Palma. So that can't be the same plane. Palma gets back at 1455, followed by 1545 to Nantes (same as now) which gets back at 1830. But there is no flight to Wroclav anymore - so where does the aircraft go next. Tuesday has a 1705 departure to Faro so that doesn't work if just one aircraft.
thur and Sat have 0630 to Limoges, back at 0930. Then 0955 to Palma, back at 1455. Then 1545 to Nantes, back at 1830 but nothing after that. Thurs also has a 1630 Murcia - again, can't be same aircraft.
I am confused But I think the Ryanair scheduling department may be confused as well

Ryanair1, do you actually work or have sources there - or are you just thinking what will happen?
As the airport in Warsaw which Ryanair flies too, is closed. So how can they start flying between Bournemouth to Warsaw if the airport they go to is closing?
And Krakow? When is that going to happen? As Ryanair pulled the Wroclaw route, why haven't they replaced that with the Krakow one now?
Just as if the route is going to happen, I would be very keen to find out to book tickets to take my younger siblings back to see their parents very frequently! (me included)
Thanks
Nikolai
