J41s a fine aircraft for its purpose but no way will Euromanx move to them. As they will be looking to wet lease the SAAB 340 is much cheaper and lots more readily available. Personally I cant see any sign of takers for the 2 old dashes anyway, unless they accept a bargain basement offer.
Maybe they'll just slim it all down from 3 to 2 aircraft to reduce capacity on MAN,LPL and BHD and just lease another ATR from Arran for LCY. No way can the market support FlyBe and EuroManx planned capacity from March.

But Mrs Hac is not a happy passenger, and the cramped cabin makes her very uneasy. And if she says no, then the kids don't go. I can persuade her to use the baby Dash 8, because of the larger cabin cross section. Given a choice she'd prefer 4 engines as well. No wait. Make that six!

Usually Blue Islands IOM-JER service is a D328. Much more space.
won't be for too much longer - being swapped out as it struggles with X wind limits in JER & GCI where theres only one runway. IOM is windier but the old xwind runways can keep things flying.

Hmm.. Interesting... I understand that BCI have had a few problems regarding the low cross-wind limit on the D328. However the J41 does not have anywhere near the same passenger appeal as the D328, but the J41 would be more ideal not only with regards cross winds but also the fact that BCI already operate a fleet of J32's.
I would expect to see Blue Islands operating twice daily GCI/JER-IOM by the end of the year, they have seen a huge amount of growth on the route, and would be the next logical step in their business-person orientated business model.

Nothing major to be honest. As it is now under the 'Airbase umbrella', believe to be a slight amendment to the company name, to become 'Airbase Flight Support'.

EMX81L you said that in one, Dissolution of company name is little more than a cleaning up of names. Sounds like Airbase will become a lot more prominent within Flight Support. Things could not look better for the company with Loganair now coming under the Flybe brand. Busy times ahead!! Seems to be a lot of speculation over the handling of Loganair come the winter season. Loganair will become part of the Flybe product so there is no other reason why they would not be handled by Flight Support. Thats enough of that 
Also will be interesting to see the outcome of Euromanx but I would not be fearing the worst. I have been told that several of the canx BHD flights are down to BB and BC being away on A checks so an Air southwest -300 will be filling in.

Maybe EMX has been bought by BE. Will probably be cheaper than running extremely cheap fares until EMX fall. All EMX facilites will then be available for further BE expansion off of the Island!
Or they could just run them into the ground - a Microsoft technique!

Flybe is today announcing the introduction of two additional services on its popular Isle of Man routes to both Manchester and Liverpool. The extra flights will raise the frequency to Manchester to five a day and Liverpool to four a day and is a response to unprecedented demand from Manx travellers.

Having just checked the flybe website its a shame the pr dept, schedulers and the CEO dont have the same story as the Manchester extra flight is only on Mons Thurs and Fridays. Confused just look at the timetables page for their liverpool and manchester flights.
Who ever is advising them on flight times needs questioning as previous post has stated. Good luck to flybe but with EuroManx at £19.00, better times and no bag charges its going to be a good fight.

BE's marketing and PR department is extreamly clever, as Islanders all we get off EMX is the same drivvle month after month.
Once Flybe start Liverpool and step up the pressure on Manchester it will further squeeze AustroManx to whatever passengers are left. The last two flights I took with EuroManx to Manchester had less than 10 on board!
To everyone I know at Euro's get out while you can as Flybe will win this one ( or two )
