Here's a bit of news from the Isle of Man which may be of interest to Aer Arann.
isleofman.com: news - Sun Break: Direct Flights to Majorca and Menorca Planned
Do FlyBe base any aircraft on the Isle of Man at the moment? Assuming Aer Arann still have just the one ATR72 still based there? Maybe this is a sign of things to come for the Aer Arann BAe 146?
P2C.

These flights will be operated by Flybe, either using aircraft based on the Isle of Man (currently 3x Q400, soon to be 4x) or aircraft hopping over from another base to operate the flights. I think it will probably be an E195 from MAN or BHX.

Good eye to you both! Thanks for pointing that out and yes we would be happy to shed some light.
When the original poster in a thread deletes his post, as happened in this case, it takes the whole thread with it. We have decided to restore that original post as we see no reason to lose the rest of the thread.
Should the original poster desire his post to be unreadable for some reason we recommend he edit it and remove the contents. We chose not to do that ourselves as the deletion appeared possibly accidental.
Cheers,

Hi Evileyes,
Thanks for re-establishing the thread so quickly, much appreciated.
Onto the subject matter....
I noticed that Aer Arann apparently have an ATR72 wet-leased to Air Southwest according to Asecnd Online. Is this lease still in effect? Also any idea when the BAe 146 will be entering service?
Cheers,

Could there be any connection between Aer Arann's 146 ambitions and the fact that Titan are about to take delivery of 146-300 G-BUHB (ex D-AEWB)?
It was airtested at SEN a couple of days ago and is currently being resprayed in an all white colour scheme. This aircraft is presumably intended for pax work as it has no freight door.

All looks like Aer Arann will be operating BAe146-200 G-BTIC. 146 equipment in storage in Waterford went to Dublin recently.
Rumours say the aircraft will be in service from January

G-TBIC is still in storage at SEN, but has been moved a couple of times this week so pre-delivery maintenance could be in the offing shortly.
