Personally I don't think there is any truth to what this :mad: posted. Not sure what his motive for posting this would be. Reporting a pilot for drug use would not be stabing them in the back.

Is that 17 - 17.5 degrees angle of atack surely. Don't think it has to do with the actual aircraft pitch angle. I don't know the 747, so just speculating.

Not a good idea to take off with the props at 80%, you don't have full power, and no reverse if you have to stop quickly. We use to set the power, before flap retraction.

As a Eurpean pilot with commitments at home, I wouldn't bother with Africa. Go pay O'Leary his 20'g's, and you will be better off. You will make f***all, doing work in TZ or any other part for that...
