I couldn't say what was happening- too confusing for a non-specialist. Why was the Russian flag in the centre if this was a Ukranian video ? There is obviously very heavy editing.

" the last bit looks like the tank behind finishes off the one in front that has been hit by a missile from the side of the road he has just past!"

What is the point of that ? It can't blast the tank off the road, and it has already been "destroyed" by the missile, so why ?

EDIT: O.K. See the tank hadn't burned, so the shot from the rear tank did make it "beyond repair "

It looked like his escape route was past it, possibly to cook off the remaining ammo and cut the risk of it detonating as he drives past taking himself out as well?

It's probably just in case there were any Ukrainian farmers nearby

macmp419 1st Apr 2022 17:48

Russian troops withdrawing en mass from the Kyiv areas, Russia asserting that two Ukrainian helos attacked a fuel facility 40Km inside their border.

Something does not smell right here, and I have a very bad feeling over what may come next.

Someone else agrees

Thanks took it down, hence the question mark as I doubted it.

Indeed. And very damning on Russian air defence capabilities. Going forward, it may well give rise to itchy trigger fingers in Russia shooting down some of their own returning aircraft.

One could hope, they have already managed it in Country.

I cannot be the only one wondering whether the attack being attributed to Ukraine in Belgorod, Russia isn’t a Russian false flag attack on itself as a pretext to launch another (possibly even nuclear) attack on Ukraine in the name of defending “Russian national security”.

Ukrainian defence officials have been 'neither confirming or denying' responsibility for the Belgorod attack due to lack of information, and the latest from AP is that the secretary of the Ukrainian security council has now said "For some reason [the Russians] say that we did it, but according to our information this does not correspond to reality" on national television.

Those capabilities are in the same level as everything else appears to be with the Russian military, the soviet era level. Mathias Rust verifies.

NutLoose 1st Apr 2022 19:27

So as mentioned before “attacks on Russia” were a premise to use nuclear weapons etc and is the pull back from Kyiv related to the threat, though even Putin couldn’t be that stupid, however if his health is suspect…

In keeping with the “rumor” nature of this forum, I suppose it’s ok to speculate - does the Russian military lack capability, decent equipment, leadership or fighting character?

Ukraine has demonstrated all four, so let’s keep them equipped with materiel! They, too, must have suffered losses.

.

I like your approach, so to speculate a bit for fun,
- they tried to enter the battlefield on a 60km long column and got stuck there for more than a week
- their equipment is in some cases from the 19th century and even the newer equipment keeps breaking up due to lack of maintenance
- 7 generals have died, two discharged and at least in one case a colonel was run over with a tank by his own troops due to lack of leadership
- seriously classified equipment is abandoned unharmed to the battlefield meaning that the US gets the latest russian EW kit for studies.

I'd speculate that its 4/4 result :E

As far from my area of expertise as you could get, but the nonchalant way they are being moved by operators with hands in pockets tells me you are correct.

You still would not catch me trying it though 🤪

Jesus, everyone should watch this… there is no words that even come close.

The best of both worlds - you get to make the hit but then put the blame on the Russians:ok:
