It’s quite hard to trust any static imagery these days. Unless you see imagery of the BANG and a time-stamped aftermath.

CAGE Lufthansa???? For HARM?

Russian decoys are better for chickens fowl dukws ducks! They can rent them out for Lada sales yards.

WARNING:
KEEP CLEAR OF NAKED FLAMES OR WIRING

Tactically, once you stop rolling on the floor laughing, it would appear that target ID should be done on windy days, or up close and personal with a ronson or BB gun to confirm if the S-300 is just hot air, or it is the Russians that are full of hot air. A time series of ISR or a SSAR would be good, or IR/nUV/VIZ to ensure that a $145 drone isn't wasted on Russia's repurposed Lada advertising aids.

That depends on whether you're quoting Shakespeare, or Col. Sanders.

Man, what a poor job! The printing doesn't even follow the surface of the object, it's just added to the photo. And the print is perfect, without any sort of damage similar to the skin.

Clearly the vehicle on fire remained mobile.

One is tempted to ask "who do they think they are kidding?"

Answer: Sadly, huge numbers of Russians, and huge numbers of folk round the globe.

People wonder when the Kherson counter attack will start.
Surely as now it is believed 60% of the in country Russian forces are now in the Kherson region, all the main bridges supplying them are down, with strikes being performed on their munitions stockpiles, food supplies, command and headquarters infrastructure… along with their barracks.
Then is it not safe to assume it is already on the way? It’s rapidly turning into their own Bastogne.

Re the missile launches from the Black Sea, images from onboard the ship are out.

and on a “lighter note” it may be that Russia is poisoning their own troops.

That could well be innocent image enhancement to improve legibility or facilitate copying of the text.

What interests me more is whether it is likely that the CAGE code - which indicates that the manufacturer was Lufthansa - is sensible, or a random choice made by someone who was trying to make it look different to the example found earlier without understanding the system in use? (The earlier example points to Raytheon, which is eminently sensible.)

BBC 30 minutes ago ...Ukraine says it has taken out another bridge that is vital for Russian forces occupying the southern Kherson region.

It says the bridge on the dam at Nova Kakhovka - which it has attacked before - is now impassable. The claim has not been independently verified.

Yes. I wish that I had thought of that. Eminently believable. Obvious when I think of it.

Change of subject: anyone for bridge?

We now are to assume that Lufthansa Technik Intercoat is EASA 145 cape for AGM-88's?

A "missile" is a complex assembly; guidance is produced by a guidance sub-contractor, motor by a rocket specialist, and so on. Not unreasonable to think that the aerodynamic surfaces are sourced from an aero-structure specialist; foreign or domestic. The CAGE Code relates to a Lufthansa Technical facility specialising in composite repair of aerospace components. In my view not unreasonable that they might be a repairer or even sub-sub-contractor in the manufacture of missile parts, or that they would not necessarily wish to publicise such a relationship.

Going back a year or two, but as a technician on the mighty Toom, I was surprised to learn that the some of the ordnance carriage and release equipment was manufactured by Cessna.

why not, not all Cessna's are 152's, it's not what you build, but the infastructure you have to build it..................hence the Scorpion
