The shipwrights mistake on the rigging plans led to a three-masted, square-rigged, ocean-going goat-phuck of a disaster; however, it was an inspiration to brothers Orvil and Wilbur.

Quick son look, I've just completed my first ever full size model kit.

Dad, HMS Victory looks nothing like it does on the box.

Well I got the idea when I was flying Rubber Dog Sh!t out of Hong Kong. .. The sailings junks were a sight to see in Kawloon Bay

Well I got the idea to place these atop the Arizona Memorial in Pearl from the Sydney Opera House.
However Prince Charles said somthing about a
' Carbuncle '

It came to light recently that Erno Goldfinger, the Modernist architect responsible for iconic buildings such as Trellick Tower and Carradale House, had a sideline in aircraft design.

It looks the way it does because at flying speed, it's generating so much drag it actually goes backwards.

Sopwith's explanation was that, once you've built several thousand 1 1/2 Strutters, you've got to find something to do with all those left over 1/2 struts.
