While filming Das Boot the props took one hell of a beating...
That's OK it's the non diving replica from Malta...we use for all Submarine movies

There was nothing on the sonar, and once we'd surfaced, the sea was clear as glass from horizon to horizon.

I knew this would happen if they appointed a female commander.

In the Clyde normally an ecounter with a Submarine it's the Trawler that comes off worst

The plan was to impress the Admiral by staying submerged right up to the jetty side and then surfacing. What could possibly go wrong ?
