...and finally, in local news tonight, While looking for the ex owner of Newcastle United the local lakes were drained, and all they found was the get away chopper, the Police are still looking for the £300m he was taking to pay onto the bank, for the shareholders..

First of all -- phew! Despite a distinct drift at the beginning, this didn't go down too deep into the . . . gutter. I thought about adding a note about paying due respect to a worthy cause, but was afraid it would read like a challenge.
With that said, the runner up, for almost making me spill my coffee is Ninthace, with "Never ditch a white helicopter into a lake that has previously had a red helicopter ditched into it.." Maybe I've spent too much time wearing slightly pink socks.
But the all 'round best entry was ORAC's "The Board old Inquiry recommended that Transitioning in flight should be more carefully defined as an aeronautical, and not medical, procedure….."
Take it away ORAC! I'll box up the trophy for shipping to . . ., well to . . . . On second thought, maybe I'll just wait to see if he shows up to get it..
