While it was common knowledge that the Royal Navy was up **** creek without a paddle, they were at least better off than the Jamaican Navy; they were also up **** creek, had paddles, but no boat...

The RSM couldn't figure out why the Fijian recruits were the only crew to finish the Raft Race, or why their raft was so low in the water, or why they all had hiccups, or where all the other recruits had disappeared to.

..There were red faces all round today, when "Operation Spliff",a joint exercise with the Royal Navy Submarine "HMS Spiffing" had to be called off, after the Jamaican Special Forces forgot to inflate their raft..
