There you go flailing about trying to show off again.....

Or

Quick pull it and run, let's see if we can flush some of the cr*p out of that American helicopter.

Or

MOD cutbacks have replaced the crewman on the end of the winch cable as the winch weight, this solid dense inanimate object was found to have reduced the cost of in flight catering considerably without losing any of the crewmans other redeeming attributes..

Or

Excuse me, can you please direct us to Woodford....

Time to judge, methinks, it's been a week!

I liked this one in third place, from Squeaker, very clever:

First close up photo of Britney Spears' belly button based helicopter tattoo?
And I liked this runner up, a topical one, from Mend 'em:

Andy Gray and Richard Keys realise too late that the FA Referees association take that sort of sexist behaviour very seriously..
But being a simple soul, and a fan of Monty Python, I found this one as funny as any:

Run awa-a-a-a-y!"
Please take it away then, ACW 599, you've won!

As ACW 599 appears to be still absent and not being Vigilant ( T1 or otherwise ) perhaps if I load one up to get the ball rolling again, he can judge it when he returns............ hope no one minds.

Obvious I know

Although the post-SDSR amalgamation of the Royal Army Veterinary Corps and II Para was a useful cost cutting measure, there were still some practical aspects to resolve.

The Army's generous offer of free tandem parachute jumps for the blind had not been well researched.

The subsequent Board of Inquiry discovered that the pilot's CV had been misinterpreted.

"Sky god" was in fact dyslexic.
