I think this one has run out of steam, now

A special Mention-in-Despatches to SATCOS WHIPPING BOY for the caption:

Commander - "Why are we wearing these ridiculous safety goggles?"

Admiral - " I am glad you ask, but if your tunic buttons get stressed any more they could easily take someone's eye out; it happened to Nelson".

and the winner is CoffmanStarter for a genuine laugh-out-loud moment with:

We might have to skip the midget sub demonstration we had planned

Thank you all for your excellent responses.

Over to you, sir.

Many thanks FT6

I've had my fair share of 'wins' recently ... So I'd like someone else to have a go if that's OK

SATCO ... Would you like to put one up mate ?

Best ...

Coff.

PS. PM sent to SATCO

Keeping up the fine tradition of Naval Intelligence, it was up to the little boy to point out that the Elephant in the room was actually a Giraffe.

There was always a chance that someone would push the limits when height restrictions were relaxed for Naval Aviators.

This kid says one of you tried to steal his giraffe. Now who was it?

The kid won the giraffe in the Open Day Raffle so now he wants it presented, preferably by the cute chick with the sunshades.

The Navy went a little early in announcing that they'd found Harold Holt!
