Scroggins proves that as in all things in life, his willie was the controlling factor.
The Prototype was found to be a failure as the Army Boffins could not figure out a way to display the complete Tail Number on the aircraft.

No mater how hard he tried. Scroggins couldn't get the ships captain to get the carrier lined up, level and on the glideslope.
