Completely unintended, my dear chap ! What can I say ? My most profound apologies for this most unfortunate phonetic coincidence.
In my naivety, I had only associated "Torque" with those mysterious things which drag the C-130 round the skies, and which appear to run at a constant RPM whatever happens, but never tick-over like normal power plants, still less pop, fart and bang on the overrun as a proper aero engine should.
Danny.
