Military Aviation A forum for the professionals who fly military hardware. Also for the backroom boys and girls who support the flying and maintain the equipment, and without whom nothing would ever leave the ground. All armies, navies and air forces of the world equally welcome here.

KING HENRY V
What treasure, uncle?
EXETER
Tennis-balls, my liege.
KING HENRY V
We are glad the Dauphin is so pleasant with us;
His present and your pains we thank you for:
When we have march'd our rackets to these balls,
We will, in France, by God's grace, play a set......

(Andy Murray for ever !)

After the FAA clampdown on low flying, MCNBC found a solution to continue with their 'skycam' contract. Their lawyers assured them it would be cheaper to compensate the players' widows than cancel the contract. Viewing figures doubled, so the advertisers (and thus MCNBC) lived happily ever after. After taking the advice of focus groups, it was decided not to provide the players with parachutes.

Investigations into a large number of first round crashes found that providing the umpire with the customary courtside high chair had had the unforeseen result of preventing him from reaching the controls.

The sparse crowd (and crowded bar) was explained by the forthcoming Ladies' Singles, featuring 'Tennis Girl'

Just for you, Danny

Timothy thought it was damned poor form that Tarquin chose his serve as the best time to 'curl one down'.
